But it is our responsibility to never forget the lives of the people and the communities which come in direct contact with the mining and production process. The Dalumi Group is committed to promoting ethical and responsible business practices in all the communities in which it operates. In Gaborone, Botswana, where we run a diamond production plant, we sponsor the Tlokweng SOS Children’s Village which is a home to 245 children, by subsidizing food, clothing, medication and school materials. In principle, Dalumi Group work with mine operators who strive to avoid and even mend the negative effects of their activities on the communities in which they operate, and who contribute to creating stronger local economies.
